Duo Decadence as part of Cape Wedding Trio, was invited by “Leadership Through Laughter” conference organizers to perform entrance music as guests will be making their entrance at the One & Only Hotel in Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town.

Saturday’s seminar will be presented by  Denzel Pedro Smit, personal development and leadership coach.  One of Cape Town’s leading comedians, Wayne McKay will also feature at the  “Leading Through Laughter” seminar.  We were invited to stay for the seminar and are really looking forward to learn a new thing or two and to invest in our leadership qualities.

This will be one of our last corporate gigs before the Cape wedding season kicks off.

A bit more about our wedding music:

Every wedding season differs and we cannot wait to experience the latest trends in summer 2013/2014 Cape Town weddings.  We have added some French and Italian light classical pieces to our repertoire to keep things fresh.

If you haven’t booked live music for your wedding service or pre-drinks ceremony, give us a call on 083 605 4423 or drop us an email at elanie.lagrange@gmail.com

We provide

  • processional music (for you to enter the wedding ceremony – like Canon in D or the Mendelssohn Wedding March),
  • some interludes as you light the candles or at another point in the ceremony like signing the register and also
  • recessional music as the bridal couple exits the ceremony.  We often use an upbeat number like The Trumpet Voluntary or The Trumpet Tune.
  • Straight after the recessional music, follows a postlude – music that plays until the last guest has exited the wedding ceremony area.  A popular, layed-back song works well for this and we choose something that everybody will recognize.

At the pre-drinks ceremony we change over to light classical music and play non-stop for one hour solid to entertain your wedding guests.  If you want to add a selection of popular music to your cocktail/photo hour, hire Cape Wedding Trio on violin, clarinet and a groovy double bass!
